They’ll be no vacations this year to escape the cold and snow (8 more inches this weekend!) but here’s a pic for Skywatch from a past foray to the land of sun and sand. Of course, I’m actually in the sky looking down on the clouds instead of up, hope it still counts. That’s a bird’s eye view of Cancun Mexico, ahhh:)
The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn’t it be? – it is the same the angels breathe. ~Mark Twain
Hi Lilli, You all get all of the snow and we are getting NONE of it. Can’t you share just a couple of inches???? ha
Great picture of Cancun. Isn’t that water gorgeous????
Hugs,
Betsy
ahhhh is right! LOL such a gorgeous view!
I agree with Mary – aaaaah is the right description! Beautiful place, beautiful view!
thanks for giving me a bird’s eye.
hope you stay toasty warm!
this is very very beautiful, it’s a kind of blue that we don’t have over here and as I understand you neither. Let’s have a cup of hot tea to warm up 😉
Even from way up in the sky, that looks warm and inviting.
Beautiful capture. 🙂
Fun shot!
Fabulous shot! love those puffy clouds. Ah, and Cancun! sounds warm and wonderful particularly after the weather we’ve had in Seattle.
Beautiful shot, like a bird in the sky.
oh yes, aaaaaaahhh it is. and a wow too. hsf bb.
BEAUTIFUL 🙂
have a nice weekend!!
What a stunning view, I could use a little sun, sea and sand right now 🙂
What a LOVELY ‘bird’s eye view’ … the colors are amazing! Thanks for visiting my Sky Watch at HRG … I shared another at Sacred Ruminations yesterday but was away from home all afternoon so I’m playing catch up this morning ;–)
Stay warm with all that snow!
I’m coping with Santa Ana winds today.
Hugs and blessings,
Beautiful shot! Makes me relax just looking at it. And love the Twain quote – he was a genius.
I am sure that looking down on the clouds counts. It must count, because the photo is amazing!
And I absolutely agree with Cate – Twain was a genious. Love the quote.
That’s a veru nice clear shot. I like the long beach and inlets on the other side. Nice clouds too.
Vacation? What’s a vacation? It’s been years since I’ve had a real vacation…sigh.
I love the view of the cloud tops…pretty!
We were supposed to get a lot of snow yesterday but got only a little before it turned to ice. I can hear the crunching of cars on the road outside my window. Next week is supposed to bring us the coldest temps in 15 years and it has already been the coldest winter I can remember and my heating bills are definitely reflecting that even though the cost of fuel is less than last winter.
Wonderful !
