instafun

Lucky me and Mr. bookbabie got iPhones just before the holidays, kind of a pre-Christmas gift to ourselves. We’ve been enjoying the ease of texting with them and all the apps, I actually rarely use mine for phone calls! I recently joined Instagram, a free photo sharing application that is basically Twitter for pictures. I’m having a lot of fun with it, taking iPhone photos, editing them with various apps, and then sharing them on the public feed. It gives you something to do with your cell phone photos, aside from forcing your friends to look at them of course, and it’s kind of like making miniature art (or so I tell myself to rationalize the time I spend playing with it!). Hope you all survived the hubbub of the holidays, we still have a naked tree in our family room, otherwise I’ve got most of Christmas put away and when I’m not on Instagram I’m on the computer looking for someplace warm and sunny to escape to:)

Well that certainly looks like a fun app to have!

Our Christmas decorations (though few) are also still up and will remain up until I get rid of my sinus infection. Too woozy to be bending over, putting things in boxes~ At least I stayed healthy through the holidays. 😉

Nobody is sick at my house, but the Christmas decorations are still up anyway because I just haven’t taken the time to take them down! The last few days have been busy busy busy as I get back to homeschooling with the kids and have various little work projects going on.

I love your pictures and the neat things you’ve done with them! I only know how to use my regular old camera to take regular old photos. 😛 I did get a nice new camera for Christmas from my sweet hubby, and I’m going to get around to watching the instruction CD sometime so I’ll know how to use it………

I have an iPhone, but it’s ancient and the camera isn’t too great. I’ve heard the new ones have an improved camera. I really like your mosaic – have fun! Happy 2012!

The cameras are good in the new phones, but the editing programs will help you out if you want to try instagram Barb, you can really add some zip to your photos:)

Those are great! Make me feel warm and cozy. I agree that they are miniature art. I have an Andriod based smartphone – so no instagram, but I want to start taking better pictures with it.
