rad radko’s

Many years ago, my husband and I started a tradition at the small company we own. We give the employees (and ourselves!) a Christopher Radko ornament for Christmas. We all have a nice collection of them now and I decided to take photos of some of them today and do a post for the You Capture blog meme. The theme this week was “Holiday Decor”.ย  I used my little Canon G9, hand-held with no flash, and then filtered the images with Topaz Labs Adjust and Totally Rad Dirty Pictures, two plug-ins for Photoshop. It was a lot of fun just “playing” with these photos, especially since so much of my photography is for Getty and iStock, who have pretty strict criteria for what you can upload. Happy holidays everyone, hope you had a fun, peace filled weekend!

  1. A lovely idea to give these Xmas decorations as gifts to employees. We used to give our staff their own coffee cup, and I really used to enjoy choosing them . It was such fun deciding which cup to give to which person.
Have a lovely Christmas. It’s been snowing here !

    • theres nothing quite like the old diortet iron of the 60s and early 70s. this olds is a road couch. comfortable as heck and smooth riding and fast.If you park this next to a smart car you can really see just how big cars were then. with the new, efficient v8 engines and transmissions that have been coming out lately, you would think that car companies could make at least 1 big car on this scale today. id buy one.

  2. I love Christopher Radko. I’d come work for you, just for the Christmas “bonus”. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Come back anytime!

  3. A Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year from our home to your home. I’m guessing Christmas will be really special for you this year, with your new grandchild. Blessings to you all.

    The decorations are beautiful.
