I can sometimes sit for two hours in a room with almost no thought. Just complete stillness. Sometimes when I go for walks, there’s also complete stillness; there’s no mental labeling of sense perceptions. There’s simply a sense of awe or wonder or openness, and that’s beautiful.
Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry — all forms of fear — are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of nonforgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence. ~Eckhart Tolle
Wow!!!
That place is so serene. A definite good place to meditate or just for a walk. Thanks for sharing.
Happy WW!
I like the photo with all the Queen Anne’s Lace. There was a pasture full of it that I drove by on Sunday. Thanks for the Eckhart Tolle quote; he has some great insight.

This brought me a sense of peace. Something good to have right now as I’m on my way to bed.
Thank you. 🙂
As soon as our new crop of mosquitoes die back, I’m going to start walking again. Great thoughts on the process. Pappy
Did you know that ‘A new earth’ by Eckhart Tolle has been featured on Oprah’s book club?
She has done this fab ten week web seminar with him! I’m really enjoying listening to then at the moment.
You can find them all on her website, it may be under the Oprah and friends link if I remember right.
Best wishes
