This little squirrel comes to our back door and we feed her peanuts by hand. Since we are pet free at the moment she’s all we got. She’s not quite as talented as the squirrel in the video but we love her anyway!

i find the squirrels get a bit “nuts” when we give them nuts… they want to get inside to the source. gnaw-ing. but they remind me of my dog sometimes, the way they stand, and touch, maybe its the white undersides… they are smart.
It’s amazing how many squirrel quotes are out there Sillyyak, the internet is an amzing thing:) Our little lady is very calm mansue, although occasionally we do have one psycho squirrel who climbs up the screens but runs away if we try to fed it, just as well!
perhaps you have one of those marvelous souls that can charm snakes or ride a lion? I seem to sit still enough to have birds arrive and then when they almost land, we are both heart shaken. 🙂
She’s beautiful, I’m jealous . We have squirrels here but not the kind that come knocking on your door!
That is just the cutest picture! Inquisitive little face saying, “hellooo…what about those nuts you mentioned?” Our squirrels just run by so fast through our tree and across the fences, we never get a proper chat with them.

We have red squirrels in the woods across the road from us, I was watching them chase each other round the trees this morning.
