“The best moments in reading are when you come across something – a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things – which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours.” ~Alan Bennett

Very nice photo! Interesting perspective.
Great quote! And I love the colors in the photo.
I like the new look, I think its a good upgrade over last seosan’s and the blog should tie into the site also, so yes keep it on the same theme. I wasn’t so sure about this new look or slogan when the email’s came in with it starting to show some, but I have to say with the new ads and seeing it all together it has grown on me much more than last seosans did for sure. Cant wait to see what wallpapers look like, and curious to see if the mobile apps will soon show up and have a touch of this new look also.
i love that quote! have never heard it before. your photo captures a great feeling as well. thanks.
Love it. The picture and the quote. Makes you think.
I can’t believe you’re not playing with me-ath-t was so helpful.
OMG!!! I so saw these same three women in The Cougars Den last night. Except Cougar#3 is changing up the rules today. “Rule #Wh-One: Stay Away From The Lights.”Perhaps they should stick to that. Sorry, a little Bitter Bitch just exuded onto the screen.
Amen. The most worthwhile – and the toughest. “Here be dragons.” (It is, after all, St. George’s Day!) It would be good if the message this political season were not just “change,” but “challenge,” as you suggest.
quote is just perfect for the photo…great effect, the color blue just matches ….
what a beautiful picture… love it
Love the image; makes me want to get a way to an off-season resort town.
Thank you for your comment on my blog. Have fun with the journaling. Love this photo.
Wonderful picture!
I agree.
Lots of things I love in this photo – books, bikes, soups, salads, and a good quote that ties it all together.
This is a very well done photo. The only thing is when I see a photograph like this it makes me long for the old days of Kodachrome film. I can only imagine the textures, colors, and subtle contrasts that the old days of film would have allowed. I keep hoping digital will get to that point, but it is not close yet. I am going to snoop around here to see some of your other photos. This one and the instagram on the next post have really captured my attention. Thanks for you visit and comment!
Why does this have to be the ONLY reialble source? Oh well, gj!
What a nice photo array of the ten year Clay/Ruben friendship. My favorites are the *then* #1 and the *now* #7. Good shout outs for Clay's "Joyful Noise Tour" in December and the Ruben & others currently scheduled show' "The Finalists, Live" in Branson, Missouri.
