I’ve been at it again, which one do you like best?
The soul at its highest is found like God, but an angel gives a closer idea of Him. That is all an angel is: an idea of God. ~Meister Eckhart

They’re both so lovely, but the first one is my favourite…seems to have more depth.
That’s hard, but I’m drawn to the first as well. I think it’s the lavender…I can almost smell it.
Both are beautiful.
I like both, but forced to make a choice I would select the first. I think it’s the contrast of colors that makes the little girl pop on the page. She seems to belong in that setting, like she’s just alit in that spot and could fly away at any moment, where in the 2nd one the background looks like a backdrop. In the first her skin has a translucent quality that’s missing in the second. The color seems flatter in the second (maybe the lack of contrast makes it appear that way).
I agree with the others, the top one is my favourite
it evokes the joy of a warm scented summers day The second one is also lovely but a little poignant in comparison almost as if she’s trying to remind the town dwellers to go out and smell the lavender:)
The first by a LONG SHOT. She seems so confined by the window directly behind her. Let that little angel be a part of nature not that man-made environment.
Oh, they are both great! I like the first photo the best because of the sweeping, colorful landscape behind her. Sharpens her more. Beautiful little angel. 🙂
i love the first one, it seems to go with her even better than the window does, as if it’s more “home” to her to be outside.
Thanks for visiting my blog! Hope you come back. And i’m going to go look for the book i just read an excerpt of, it’s an intriguing concept! (The Wonder of Ordinary Magic.)
Good to “meet” you.
Hi Julia, it’s nice to meet you too!
2 cents from a random surfer:
while glancing thru your pictures, i saw this question. the first one caught my eye, its bright & i like it. the 2nd seems duller, and and reminds me of dry season, when it gets dusty (in a tropical country).
but both pretty! but it mostly depends on what u plan to use it for, since it has to blend =)
wow this is hard but I must say I like the bottom one just because I like that style. Now could you darken the wings a little and perhaps lighten the black in the windows to off set her hair?
I do love the top one too as I said wow tough.
The colors of the first one makes it come alive!
My opinion, I like the darker contrast of the first one.
Exceptionally beautiful, like ther first best 🙂
