I’ve been practicing using my wacom tablet and I did my first photo-manipulation from two stock photos I bought and downloaded from istockphoto.com. I edited them in PhotoImpact and Corel Painter and I’m pretty happy with the outcome. I just hope I can remember how I did it!

I would like to know the story behind this picture. My mother has a picture of me standing in front of an old house in Memphis. I look like this girl. She has her hands positioned in the same way I held my hands back then. We lived in a slum building and I had my finger severed and sewed back on. The doctor was drunk and sewed the finger on backwards. We had a lawsuit over it. It is eerie viewing this photo. I like the effect though.
