two thumbs up

Metacritic is a website that takes a cross-section of reviews from national critics and publications and comes up with it’s own rating, or Metascore, for movies, televsion shows, music, books, and games. I looked up some of the books I’ve read in the past and found it pretty much in-line with how much I liked, or disliked a book. A good site to do a little research before you spend your hard earned moolah! Don’t ya just love the internet?

I knew Metacritic for movies, but I didn’t know it had books. But I’m finding its book list a little suspicious. The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly is the 18th best reviewed book ever? Something’s wrong here, because that’s not close to being his best book.

  2. Great way to end the month! Let’s hope that people all over the world, no maettr who they are, how they live, what they believe, will all learn to get along one day. And while I’m here, I will help myself to a piece of that delicious-looking cake. Nom…nom…nomm… Mmmm…soooo tasty. And calore-free? Doesn’t get any better than that. Thank you!
