Today’s theme for PhotoHunt Saturday is utensils. I photographed the baking supplies a few weeks ago for my iStock account. I don’t really bake much anymore since I had to go on a gluten-free diet. It’s a lot more complicated, and the truth is, most GF baking recipes just aren’t worth all the trouble. I have made one yummy discovery though, 123 Gluten-Free Pan Bar mix is delish when made with added pumpkin and a cream cheese frosting. I serve it often to “regular” people. Everyone seems to love my pumpkin bars and they didn’t know they were gluten-free until I told them:)
Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie. ~Jim Davis
my mother in law makes a wonderful gluten free cookie–if you’re interested in the recipe. She also makes bread. my photo hunt is here Thanks
nice yellow bowl , certainly nice to use for cooking
thanks for your visit
A very stylized photo. I think you may bake more if you had the right ingredients and recipes. I love to bake! Martha Stewart’s daughter bakes for other people. I will say I mostly do that too.
Oh My Lilli, I’m sure that it is hard being on a Gluten-free diet. But–the Pumpkin Bars sound wonderful.
Hope you are having a good weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
We don’t have these mixtures on this side of the pond, but it sounds scrumptious.
If pumpkin pie can be part of the diet, I’m there.
The thing about gluten free baking is you end up ding a lot of soufflé type stuff.
Mine is here.
Beautiful photo.
I went gluten free for a while and it’s tough. My husband became an expert at baking gluten-free sourdough bread for me (he’s the baker in our family).

beautiful capture! it’s so clear..
My pH is up too.
I love the colors in this photo. The yellows and the greens…very appealing.
Gluten free would be hard to live with but at least you know what you cannot have. My situation is protein in general…all kinds which makes eating very difficult these days.

Terrific photo! Bright and clean. I did Photo Hunters today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit.

New York Traveler.net Photo Hunt!
Fantastic photo.
I’m not entirely sure what Gluten is…something found in baked goods is about all I can figure. It must be difficult to be Gluten free.
This is a wonderful photo. The recipe sounds tasty.
Gluten is a protein in wheat and some other grains, so basically no flour!
A lovely photo! I love that bowl. Makes me want to bake!
Thanks for visiting mine!
Oh that cannot be easy to follow. Wheat flour and other types of grains are so prevalent. Is oat flour ok? I love oatmeal! I eat it almost daily even in summer.
Oats are ok Laurie as long as you buy certain ones. Most are processed on machinery that also process wheat. It is a pain, but after spending most of my life ill with mysterious issues, I’m lucky to have figured out why my body was so unhappy for so long!
Bookbabie, I just like this picture!
