Yes, we are those dumb people who go outside when a storm is blowing in to see if it’s bringing a tornado with it! The pic is from earlier this week, we saw a few swirling clouds, but thankfully no funnels, just a lot of wind and rain. Notice Mr. bookbabie has his wine with him, he read somewhere that offering up a glass Cabernet Sauvigon to the weather Gods will protect you 🙂

    The lighting in this is amazing. It’s almost as if it’s a studio shot on a movie set.

  7. Okay, Lilli…. Did Mr. Lilli ‘drink’ that wine—or actually throw it up toward the sky???????? ha ha ha… I’m sure he just ‘toasted’ the sky!!!!!Right????

  11. It’s been a long time since I have seen a dark sky like that around here. In the land of eternal sunshine I would actually like a few more storms. But the ones that don’t bring tornadoes of course! Happy Friday!

  13. LOL… fantastic picture and your commentary made me laugh! It’s been an ominous storm season here in Tennessee, too. In fact, I’m up in the wee hours because my thunderstorm-phobic dog thinks he needs to bark at thunder. =/

  15. A good Cabernet Sauvigon is the perfect wine for a tornado. The only thing better suited would be two. Pappy
