This is the little fishing pond in a park across the street. It’s funny, but until I started taking pictures of it I didn’t appreciate its simple beauty. I guess that’s what photography is all about, isn’t it? The lens wraps itself around an image, separating it from the noise and stopping time, giving us the opportunity to look more closely at the world around us. Happy Skywatch Friday!
BB: That is a beautiful little pond and a great reflection of the sky, nice capture.
Nice shots! Such a beautiful blue sky against those wonderful golden fall colors. 🙂
Good description on what photography is! 🙂
That bench is made for sitting and staying and watching (and taking pictures).
Love the fall colors. This picture is so calming…I want to be on that bench!
That is a beautiful little pond. I’m glad you “discovered” it.
Beautiful shot. It’s a lovely pond.
I’ve noticed the same thing about regularly shooting the same area. I start to see things I didn’t realize were there, and the beauty begins to stand out more now that I’m truly looking rather than taking the scenery for granted with just a glance.
How lucky you are to have such a lovely and serene spot right across the street, and I love what you said about the lens and the image.
just loved it! thanks for sharing!
that scenery looks so peaceful. perfect picnic area 😉
thanks for stopping by my sky watch
It is so pretty. How wonderful that it is so close. I have a similar place just a short walk away from me too.
you’re right… it is so beautiful.
the lens does seem to edit the otherness.
i am so lit up here by yellow leaf and wind and sun translating the transparency… and the shadows, too.
That’s quite a view you have there! A perfect place to sit and read a book!
This is a lovely spot. Yes, I love that photography has a certain way of stopping time. It’s magic!
