Instead of packing up Christmas today I started a new photo-manipulation. It’s been a while since I’ve done one. I saw the little girl on iStock and knew I wanted to use her for another angel piece, then I found four other photos and put them all together to complete the picture. I’m happy with how it turned out and glad that I gave myself the afternoon off to do something that has no other purpose other than to nourish my soul. When is the last time you lost yourself in an activity that you enjoy?

Hey, thanks for the info…one question (for now…lol)… how would you go about isolating the bits from other pics to make them objects.
Hope ya don’t mind me asking, this is sommat i’ve never looked into before and i’m intrigued now.
Of course I don’t mind Jan. In your photo program you should be able to open a pic, go up to Objects and scroll down to Extract Object, or Cut Out Object depending on your program. Then you zoom in enough so you can see the edges and draw around it, extract it once, then again in more detail. Or you can erase the background around an object. Does your photo program do that? Google “extracting” or “cutting objects” (and your own program) and see if you can find tutorials. There’s lots of free info out there:)
